Group work

About my work with groups

Over the last 10 years I have run transformational group spaces, workshops, events and women’s circle with my friend and business partner, therapist Sophie Bayley. We are not planning any events for the immediate future, but are operating a waiting list for people who may be interested in new events we hope to run in 2024. If you would like to be added to the waiting list, please email us to let us know.

Women's Circles in Bristol

What is it? A Women's Circle is a place for women to connect in a genuine and supportive environment. We take time to reflect, to tell our truth and are open to being vulnerable. It’s a place to nurture connection with other women and ourselves. A chance to explore and be curious about ourselves and others. A Women’s Circle can feed our spirits, re-energize and heal us.

What happens in the Circle? The layout of the evening will vary depending on the focus of each session. However, every time we meet, we will share what is coming up for us at that moment. There will be a paired or group exercise where you may learn a new tool, and we will encourage some movement. Everyone also has time for reflection.

Who leads the Circle? The Circle is led by Hannah Parker and Sophie Bayley, experienced facilitators and therapists with a wide range of experience of working one-to-one and leading transformational groups and workshops. Both have private practice: Sophie is an Integrative Counsellor and Hannah is a Biodynamic Massage Therapist  and Body Psychotherapist. They have both completed The Transformational Leadership training with Celebration of Being. Hannah and Sophie provide a warm, encouraging, inviting and safe place for you to explore what you need to.

Our intentions for this Circle as facilitators
Our intentions are to provide an intimate, confidential and nurturing female-only safe space to:

 - Commit to your growth on a regular basis
 - Allow time for yourself
 - Share experience and wisdom
 - Be seen and supported by other women
 - Reflect on your personal development
 - Learn supportive tools

Some intentions of the women who’ve attended:
- Space for myself
- Connections with others
- Learning to love and enjoy my own space
- Meeting women, validation for myself
- Learn something new about myself
- Explore what it would look like to ask for support
- A space away from all things in my life
- Create a curious and peaceful space for myself - a space to formulate what I want to do next
- Gather some bravery - explore who I am
- Thinking and reflecting time for me - looking at some of my issues
- Opportunity to check in with myself
- A space that feels constant where nothing is asked of me

We welcome each and every woman regardless of her background. If you would like to be added to the waiting list for 2024 events, please email us to let us know.

It starts with a relaxed chat.
